Artist Statement
My inspiration comes from nature. From the biggest trees to the tiniest mushrooms, I am fascinated by their form, color, movement, smell and relation to each other, and of course our place with them.
The pieces I create contain contrasting textures and colors close to that in nature. Minuscule details will lead you through the piece filled with symbolism and double meanings. With all of my work - mosaic, drawing, painting or fiber, the more one looks, the more there is to find. Visual hints take you into the piece, deeper into the meaning and emotions linked to the visual image.
