Joanne works from her studio in downtown Battle Ground, Indiana, just a few miles north of Lafayette. She focused on oil painting for her BA, pushing paint around the canvas, but her love of natural materials and found objects gave way to create sculptural forms, both in the intimacy of sterling silver jewelry and the larger metal forms that can adorn one’s walls and shelves.
